Securely erase PCle 128GB Flash storage hard drive (Mac)

Hi,
I recently sold my macbook air (early 2015 model) which has as PCle 128GB Flash storage hard drive.

I used a 7-pass secure erase option.

I have two questions
(1) will this actually work for flash hard-drives - I have read it is not possible to securely erase them?

(2) The process of securely erasing the hard drive with a 7-time pass sequence took less than 1hr-1hr 30 (can't remember exactly). Did it work?

Thank you

Which utility did you use?

If you filled up the entire capacity with garbage then I wouldn't worry about it, although if the utility tried to write specific sectors instead of an entire-drive fill then it's going to be largely random where the data actually ends up on the NAND.

Still, not really worth worrying about.

No it was the entire capacity with garbage. I did it in "safe mode", so to speak
alright
thanks
