BD-RW Drive changed into CD Drive :(

Hello
My Bluray drive icon changed from this: (which it normally used to be like)

to this:

and when I put a bluray disc into the drive the drive doesn't show the BD title at all and it just shows the capacity of the disc. Like:

I have to add this:
This problem of mine used to happen after each time I burned a bluray disc. But it used to be temporary. I mean after burning the Bluray Disc and restarting my computer, or after shutting my pc down and turning it back on, the icon would be as normal and the drive would show the BD title, but now this is not temporary.

PS: My BD-RW Drive is working normally. I have burned a bluray disc just fine even after this problem became persistent.
I always burn my bluray discs at 2x speed and it takes 1.5 hrs for BD-50 and about 45 minutes for BD-25. Might that be the problem??

I would say you got a corrupt driver. Go into device manager, go into cd/dvd drives and right click on the bd drive and click on uninstall. Then reboot the pc and it should install the correct driver. Then see if it happens again. If it does, then you either have a corrupt windows install or possibly a bad drive. Check to see if there is a firmware update for the bd drive.

Thanx a lot. I just did as you said and here is the result:

I don't think that my BD Drive is corrupt. I just bought it a month ago and you helped me with setting it up: http://www.computerforum.com/threads/pc-doesnt-recognise-my-blu-ray-writer.237487/
Hope this icon thing won't happen again.

I didn't say drive was corrupt, I said the windows install may be corrupt.

Let us know if it changes again.

I will, for sure. :);)
By the way, do you think the speed that I choose to write data on Bluray Discs (2x speed) which takes long to burn the disc can have an effect on this matter?

I burned a Bluray isc (25Gb) and after the burning process AND the verification of the data finished, the same thing happened. When I put a bluray disc, it doesn't show the Disc title unless I restart my computer:

What software are you using to burn blu rays? Have you checked for firmware update?

I've been using Ashampoo eversince I bought my new BD-RW Drive. I think I've been wrong in my choice. Now that I installed Nero (Since CDburnup doesn't work for me) everything is fine and after burning and verifying the disc the icon is the same as before. I'm glad I finally found the right CD/DVD/BD burning software. Thank you @johnb35
