New Gaming Desktop on a budget

Hey guys, first off I want to thank you all for helping me with everything ive needed help on in the past, with my previous build, which I sold to a friend now... which in some ways i wish i would of just kept it now with the release of American Truck Simulator which snuck up on me because ive been so busy with life lately... so I want to get back into the swing of things again an build a new rig, but with a twist... i want a do more of a budget build, and i was hoping someone could post me a finished build on what they recommend... well im sure the next question is what do I want to use it for? well i want strictly for American Truck Simulator. I want to be able to run that game on ultra with no issues. Now, with that said i burned $1300 on my last rig, which i think was nuts in some ways, and in some ways not, it was worth it because it was a performer. But im thinking, what can a guy do to get a computer built to run that game, with maybe.... $800 budget not a dime more.....

Here are the recommended requirements for the game:

Windows System Requirements

Minimum

Recommended

OS: Windows 7 64-bit

OS: Windows 7/8.1 64-bit

Processor: Dual core CPU 2.4 GHz

Processor: Quad core CPU 3.0 GHz

Memory: 4 GB RAM

Memory: 6 GB RAM

Graphics: GeForce GTS 450-class (Intel HD 4000)

Graphics: GeForce GTX 760-class (2 GB)

Storage: 3 GB available space

Storage: 3 GB available space

and of course its a no brainer, i need to have no less than 8 GB of Ram... please help me guys and ill very much appreciate it.... thanks. :)

If you are not going to overclock, don't bother getting K version. If you going to get K version CPU, make sure your mobo is Z170

Personally lean toward micro-atx these days as I realize most people don't need a lot of expansion slot.
And i tried to use my old parts to build a HTPC, most cases I want only take m-atx...

Your recommend spec is GTX 760. You can probably get GTX 960 to save $100 if you want to .

SSD: 250GB only $90, I don't see it worth getting 120GB for $68. i would say you either have 250GB or having nothing.
also, get M.2 interface if your chosen motherboard support.

Why do you need pro edition windows?

whats a good atx? im lingering on the $1200 mark is my issue... my budget is more like $1000... no more
Pretty much any ATX board for Socket 1151 that fits your budget and is from ASUS or Gigabyte will be fine I reckon. I'd definitely go with ATX especially since you are using various add-in cards and a graphics card. Trouble is that dual-slot graphics cards can cover up the PCIe x1 slot on some cheap or poorly thought-out mATX boards so I'd hate for you to buy an mATX board only to find that you can't use your Wi-Fi card because the GPU is covering the PCIe x1 slot it needs it. That drove me mad when I had an mATX board. There's other reasons too but you're buying a mid-tower case, so why would you buy an mATX board? Clearly not to save space because you bought a case that can house an ATX board.

is that gpu gunna handle american truck sim on ultra? the 2 gb worry me... an im stuck on 7...is 10 popular?
Generally I'd recommend 4GB these days.

And yeah if you ask me then 10 is good. Ask somebody else and they'll tell you it's rubbish but on the whole it has been fairly well-received. If you're still on 7 it might be time to upgrade, especially if you're getting a new PC.
