What printable CD-R's to get?

I have a Canon MG5420 inkjet printer and it can print CD's. I have a 100-pack spindle of Verbatim "Inkjet Printable White, Hub Printable" CD-R discs, but when I print something onto them the ink doesn't stick. As a matter of fact, one of the discs I printed almost a month ago had ink smear off of it when I handled the disc TODAY.

Can anyone recommend printable CD-Rs that don't suck?

Yeah, they're CD's you can actually print onto. I tried the sticky labels but it worked horribly. 90% of the time the labels would peel off easily and one time one peeled off and jammed the CD player in our car.
