fx 6300 performing above expectations and requirements

Hi there, I have a possibly silly question. I currently have a computer I bought 2 years ago with an AMD fx-6300 and a GTX 770 2Gb. I have AI suite with my Asus m5A97 R2.0 motherboard, and I have the BIOS settings set to "performance" which seems to have overclocked it to 3.8Ghz (it is 3.5Ghz stock). I have installed and played many games recommending an fx-8350, and gotten high frame rates. What really surprised me though, is that Assassins Creed Syndicate gets 40-50 fps on almost ultra settings (custom settings). The game requires a minimum of an fx-6350. Now, in my experience, 300mhz isn't much of a boost. Maybe over 6 cores it is though. I'm going to include a picture of CPU-Z. So, please help me solve this mystery, of how a processor that should get bad frame rates gets really good ones. Oh, also Witcher 3 gets around 35-40 fps on almost max settings 1080p. I also have a keyboard with a screen that shows CPU usage and these games never show more than 70% usage on average while playing.

It's because your graphics card is pretty good. For the vast majority of games, the graphics card is more important than the CPU and the FX-6300, whilst not the fastest processor in the world, is not a terrible CPU for gaming. Not like a Celeron or another low-end CPU might be.

Thanks guys i feel like i should know this, well now i do.
Graphics card is the most important component when it comes to gaming and the GTX 770 is still pretty good today, some 3 or 4 years later. :) The thing that limits the GTX 770 you have now will be the 2GB of RAM. Most new cards are at least 4GB these days and for some games 4GB is even worthwhile for 1080p gaming.
