I just got a new PSU (750w) to replace my old one. (450w) I bought it because ive been looking for a solution for this issue and apparently it isnt the PSU, it has to be the card. What happens is within the time i turn my computer on and it is booting up --within about 2 minutes-- it will just give me a black screen and my monitor will turn from a blue light to an orange one.

Specs:
Intel Core i7 -4790 (3.60GHz)
12 gb ram
GTX 750 TI
750w PSU

Does it happen if you boot to safe mode? What was the exact model number of the 450 watt psu?

It does happen when i boot to safe mode. The model # is : SP-450Y . It did the same exact thing with the old PSU and the new one. That is how i'm sure that it is not the PSU.

So the brand name is Rhino? If so, thats a garbage unit. If it worked with this psu originally and suddenly doesn't then I would assume the underpowered psu has done something to the video card. If the card is still under warranty, setup an rma.

Okay, Thank you.

I would try another video card just to verify though. Also, what is the model number of the new psu?

Word of advice my friend. Stop buying cheap no name brand high wattage power supplies as they are garbage. You can buy that power supply for around $40 on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/KENTEK-120mm-Supply-EPS12V-PCI-Express/dp/B0058WZ1RW

A good 750 watt power supply is gonna be closer to $80 or more.

Never skimp on a power supply. It's the backbone of your system. A 750ti really needs only a good 430 watt psu such as this.

I would imagine you overheated the video card due to a garbage power supply and its cuts out when it gets too hot.

So from now on, if you come across a high wattage psu for a low price, run away...
