Ps the screen on the asus is not very impressive. If it had a better resolution or at least better quality, id be all for it....but then the graphics card is better so it would also be better for autocad, photoshop, dreamweaver...hmmmm

Yes of course. That runs circles around either of my options but after shipping its a good $350-400 more and price is a factor

6700HQ + GTX960M seems way overkill for what i need but the high definition porno on there would be magnificent

You do realize both of those are only dual core processors with 4 threads, they are not quad cores. I would look around more for definitely 1080 resolution.
