Can my PSU handle Tri-fire?

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about Tri-firing my Radeon 7990 with another 7970 but am not sure if my PSU would be up to the job.

The 7990 was gifted to me 6 months ago and on new games (doom, far cry primal) I get reasonably good framerate but it dips down to 24 or so in certain areas when I'm gaming on my monitors native 21:9 resolution 2560x1080. I can play 1080p @60 fps no problem but I don't like the black bars. I was wondering if I could run the 7990 in tri-fire with a 7970, or any other suggestions anyone would have? I can get a used 7970 for pretty cheap right now (I think like $100 CAD).

I ran a power output tool but I'm not sure it's accurate so I wanted to double check. It said my load wattage would be 765 watts, and I'm pretty sure it's wrong.

I have a Corsair RM 850 watt PSU

Other specs include:

i5 - 2500k @ 4.4
16 gb ddr 3 - 1800mhz (4 x4gb)
PCI - Ethernet card
1tb hdd - 7200rpm
512gb sata 3 ssd
3x 200mm fans that came with my case
1x 140 mm fan.
 
To crossfire a 7990 and a 7970 you will need about a 1100 watt psu. 2 - 7990's require 1200 watts.

Will just have to game at 1080p or turn down the settings on some games, neither of which I enjoy. Until I'm ready to splurge on a new GPU maybe a year from now.

NVIDIA and AMD are releasing new GPU's in the coming months! Unmatched performance in this next wave..
 
Early benchmark shows the 1070 is as fast as the Titan X and the 1080 is about 24% faster than the 1070.

A sub $400 Titan X? Yes please.
