Was this just random, or after an update or something?

Have you tried reinstalling the application through Steam?

I used to use Steam, but I haven't for a few years, as our internet speed out my way is like being in the dark ages. I could not be bothered to keep my computer running for over 24 hours constantly just to download an update to Team Fortress 2.

You can disable automatic updating, not to mention just uninstalling that if you won't play it. :p

I'd guess this an issue that isn't Steam or CSGO specific since he has other games with problems.

Just random

You didn't answer my questions.

What other games are having problems and in what way? When did this start?
