Hello friends, the fact is that while I have a i7 socket 3770 1155 Motherboard MSI MS- 7797 ( Medion OEM) motherboard chipset Intel Panther Point B75 , Intel Ivy Bridge with a gtx 750 and 8GB DDR3 1600. I would like to know if it makes sense to invest money in this team or not. I mean, I would like to buy one of the new Nvidia they will take and do not know if this would hold much cane team logically also change the power supply that is rubbish . By the way the board has only one PCI 2.0.
Thank you very much

3770 should be fine for a while to come in games.

What budget were you looking at for a video card? Also, what power supply do you have?

Also, having PCIE2.0 instead of 3.0 isn't much of a detriment when using a single card.

Thank you and sorry about my english im spanish
Right now i have a 350 w but tomorrow i wanna buy a corsair 620 80 plus and a hummer mc case , my budget for the card is about $ 250
I just play sometimes to Project cars and assetto corsa. Is a good option to buy or wait a new gpu¿?
thanks

A Corsair CX600M is more than enough.

How much are you willing to spend on a new video card? What resolutions are you playing your games at? Are you planning on running 1440p and/or 4k monitors anytime soon?

Not sure how the 1070 translates into Euro (~$380?), I'd see how the new Radeons pan out which should be much more affordable (~$199 for the 480) and give performance similar to current 290/390 cards in about 3 weeks.

Seeing the prices even for the non founders edition gtx 1080s cost around the same as the founders edition (except for those no bells and whistles cards that are actually selling for MSRP)... I wouldn't expect the 1070 to actually have many selections in the $380 price range. Expect them to be roughly around the same price as the founders edition cards.

No 1060's have been announced yet.

60Hz TV? In Spain? I don't think so. Your TV likely accepts only 50Hz signals being that it is a PAL display, as are all European televisions.
The 50Hz vs 60Hz refresh has more to do with Euro vs US power modulation than anything else (220V 50Hz vs 115V 60Hz). Anyways, keep that in mind.

You can go ahead and upgrade your GPU. I would wait until the 1060 comes out or perhaps consider AMD's upcoming RX480 which will be $199 US or possibly 180-220 Euros. This card will have the power of AMD's current Fury card for only $200. Good price. This will allow you to max out all games at 1080P for several years in all likelihood.

The rest of your computer is ok. The PCIE 2.0 won't limit you this time around, but in 3 years or so a 16X PCIE 2.0 link will in all likelyhood be oversaturated with modern cards and you will need a full system upgrade.

You may also consider some time in the next year or so, going to 16GB of RAM for your machine. Adding an SSD is also helpful, and you can carry it over to your next system.

Being that there's nothing on NVidia coming out with a 1060, I'd get the RX 480 for $199 US if you can't afford the GTX 1070 at $379 US.
