MacBook Pro Help!!

Hi guys

So I'm intending to buy this 2014 Mac Book Pro for 600. The owner said there is nothing wrong with it, but the price seems too good to be true for that computer.

My question
Is there any way to quickly check if there are any issues with it? Like viruses, malware issues, etc..

Those aren't the issues you need to worry about, as you can just wipe and reinstall OSX.

Issues you should be worried about are hardware health, battery life, and whether or not it was stolen and this guy is just trying to make a quick buck.

Ask to see the original proof of purchase and make sure the serial number matches. If it does, then I'd open up System Profiler and look at the cycle count and health of the battery, check for physical damage, etc.
