GPU coolers dont work

No, they won't turn on until the card gets above a certain temp. If you go play a game though, they should turn on pretty quick under usage.

What temps are you observing?

My cards don't start ramping up the fans until at least 80C.

Well it hits 50C and nothing happens. I really dont like that. Is it any way to make them work at at least 10-15% before those points?

You can probably set up a custom fan profile.
Yeah I did. Either way, when it is under 30% (When I talk about % means the coolers speed) they dont do anything. Im not sure if keeping them at 30% permanently is a good idea either.

I wouldn't worry about your fans not turning on when it's idling. If you are still having issues with it when playing games and it starts to thermal throttle or cause your drivers to crash (Windows would flicker and recover the driver), then I would be worried.

No you are right. But I was thinking whenever its >45 I'd put ot at around 30% and then scale it up from there. I was mostly worried that it wasn't working properly, but if that's what GPUs do, then awesome. Im just gonna wait for Jhon to wake up :P

I played star wars battlefront and ramped up around 90 degrees C. I couldn't have msi afterburner on the screen during game but exited game after fans went up and temp was below 90 at that point with fans at lower speed. Can you play a game in windowed mode and see what temp it gets to before fans ramp up?

Hey listen. You said they hit 90C. Is that temp safe? Because for some reason my 370 hit 85C without turning the coolers on(there was some kind of error in the settings there because when I opened Sapphire TriXX they turned on). Could that generate any kind of problem? Because I can't find normal operating temperatures anywhere.
