What did I not do right ?

Turned on my computer this morning and the usual rush of incoming e-mails arrived. Then I went to reply to a few and suddenly I can't send anything. They are all stuck in OUT BOX. I have done a couple of restarts, and tried to rewrite and send but no luck.
I get the following when I try to send,
An unknown error has occured

Server. 'Mail.bigpond.com'

Windows lLve Mail Error ID: 0x8007007A

The bottom line is, Receiving OK, Sending not on. HELP.

What program do you use to send email? Can you send mail going to their website instead?

Hi I have exactly the same problem, mine started on the 24th, can receive but not send. W#ent to the Microsoft chat support, they suggested restore, I did that but the problem is still there, I am with you, what can a novice do please Help
