CS:GO plays 1080p at LOW settings 28-32 FPS

GTA V plays 720p at LOW settings 25-30 FPS

GRID Autosport plays 720p at LOW settings 35-38 FPS

I have been using Integrated Graphics on the i5-6600K (HD 530) for the past month and it is not fun at all. Even the best iGPU from Intel will not achieve satisfactory settings.
 
You're much better off getting a dedicated card.

The Iris Pro ones aren't too bad, but still much slower than a dedicated card.

Integrated graphics have greatly improved in recent years, but they are still not great for gaming. They are decent for several year old games at low-medium settings, but not much more.
 
Well you were wondering and now you know. Integrated graphics are meant as a budget way of computing for watching youtube and DVDs, maybe picture editing. If you want to game on a budget you can get a GTX 750 or a GTX 950 and get reasonable graphics for a low price. I had a GTX 650 that got me medium settings on new titles at the time at 720p resolution, like Battlefield 4 and Far Cry 3, however it really lacked with Far Cry 4 - low settings at 720p to get 30fps, but still integrated is a far cry from that (see what I did there?). If you want a really good gaming experience you're looking at a GTX 960 or better, or AMD equivalent. I have a GTX 770 which still does really well but it's not worth it to buy one now. I lucked out and got it mint condition for $220 a year ago, but buying used can be risky.
 
an $80-100 GTX 750Ti will get you around 45FPS on High-Ultra BF4 in 1080p and about 50FPS in GTA V High at 1600x900

You for sure could find one used for $50-60
 
My recommendation for a graphics card would be an MSI R7 370, it is about 150 USD. Don't get the 2 gig version, get the 4 gig. It works beautifully. I despise the GTX 750ti.

My friend has one, I don't like the fact that it has two gb of ram, and it just doesn't look nice. Plus, it's starting to not be able to handle games.

2GB of ram and aesthetics are hardly reasons to boldly say you 'despise' something. It's a mid-range, cheaper priced card, not a GTX980, for example.

End of the day the 750Ti is a good card for what its purpose is, a budget-friendly, yet still capable, mid-range card.
 
You can get much better cards that aren't going to go obsolete soon. 4GB of ram is going to become the standard. I was being dramatic though, by saying I despise it. I'm just not a fan.

My little brother has no issues running Arma 3, GTA V, and BF4 on high settings. It's a capable card, and yes it's ageing but it's fine for a budget user until we see something like the RX 460 take over the low $100 range.

When you're looking for budget cards... 4gb of vram vs 2gb of vram is not the item that is going to throttle your performance. Just sayin.
