Don't use Trend Micro. Ever.

I have had the worst experience with Trend Micro. When it "optimized" my PC, it deleted all my downloads, it went into my hard disk and deleted a folder full of ISOs I had of driver discs to various components to my PC, it deleted random DLL files, bricking dozens of programs, and then it made my PC unbearably slow and saying crap like "your PC took 300 seconds to boot" when in reality it was closer to like 25 seconds. Then when I tried to return it they wouldn't take it since it was opened, so boom, instant $50 loss on my part. Just using MS Security Essentials now, much happier with that.

TL;DR: Trend Micro is nosy, bloated, and really sucks.
