My display driver stopped responding and recovered.

My monitor went black for about a second and then it came back on and said that my display driver stopped responding and was recovered.

Should I be worried that this is going to happen again and that my monitor will be lost forever? How can I prevent this from happening or test to see if it will?
 
Most likely its an issue with the video card driver. Download and install the latest driver and see if that works.
 
Yea it's most likely outdated drivers causing this. If this still occurs after an update, then you can worry about doing a fresh install of the drivers to see if that will solve it.

If not, then you might have to look into any hardware faults or just certain programs causing your drivers to crash.
 
In device manager, under "Display adapters," it says "Intel(R) HD Graphics"

When I search Intel.com's download section for this, nothing comes up.

What should I search for?
