Darren Moderator Staff member Oct 5, 2016 #5 HWMonitor has never done me wrong with temperatures. Although it does read my CPU fan at 675,000 RPM from time to time.

bigrich0086 Active Member Oct 5, 2016 #6 Ive always used speedfan as all Rigs i built, the temps matched what bios would put out, and or Infrared Temp Gun. BUt core temp and speed fan now are wrong on this desktop, where hwmonitor and real temp are correct.
