Anything wrong with Powercolor?

Powercolor is a value brand. If you're buying a gtx 710 or something go for it. But for that high end a card I really don't recommend it. You get what you pay for in this case.

Ok, thanks for the input. Guess I should spend the extra $30..

It's kind of ironic, looks like the same brand also has one of the more expensive, luxury lookin ones as well =P

I think the last few generations of AMD cards Powercolor has seriously stepped up their game. If on a budget I wouldn't be opposed to them, I even looked at the Powercolor 390. I ultimately felt that the extra few bucks served as good peace of mind, particularly with my excellent experience with Sapphire and having to RMA with them once before. It really depends more on the specific variant of card, I know the Powercolor 390's consistently clocked lower than MSI and Sapphire variants, mainly due to thermal design around the VRMs.

Powercolor does not make Nvidia cards, and the 710 is not a GTX card.

Thanks for chiming in, bro. I like how the sapphire 480 has easily replaceable fans. That's really the only reason I'm upgrading is cause I can't be bothered to change the shitty fan in my current card. Then again theres an MSI 480 I'm eyeing up that looks deadly.
