Confusing Question

im not asking how to fix this cause its a redunant error but why does a computer show me this when im not even trying to make that happen. Maybe i fell off my chair or something cause i dont think anyone really has tried that without i being like misclicking and trying to click on something..

like i said im not asking how to fix this but why does it come up when we missclick something...image below

You can try to reduce your mouse sensitivity, reinstall the OS with windows 7, or a virus. Restart the PC it might work.

Run command prompt as admin and type (with spaces): ipconfig /scannow

See if it comes up with any issues. Update Windows afterwards.

I run XP on a netbook connected to a mini wireless keyboard, mouse and monitor for my kitchen kiosk. Works quite well. No, I haven't gotten an aininie virus because M$ doesn't support the damn OS anymore. It also functions as a type of phone firewall with PhoneTray that intercepts telemarketers and crap. I also use Nomorobo. The unique ring tones from the external speakers are awesome. Did I mention I use this netbook as a FTP server where I can exchange files between my computers and smartphone? Yeah, the storage is on the SD card. LOL!

And before ANYONE gives me shit about FTP. You know absolutely NOTHING about websites. Lets just put it that way.

Do you enjoy the concept of having your identity stolen and your system compromised? Both have likely already happened if you are running XP. You really ought to move up to Win 10. XP is very very dead and very very EOL.
Win 10 probably won't give you satisfactory performance on a netbook. You really ought to up your system to something a bit better and get off XP. XP was EOL years ago dude. It is so so dangerous to use now it's not even funny.

LMAO! Trust me, my identity and all that paranoid shit isn't "stolen." Its purpose is the kitchen kiosk. And it doubles as a basic FTP server which is nice to transfer files from my phone to computers in my house. I also run PhoneTray on it.

M$ has you people convinced without updates your computer is trash. Tisk, tisk. Tell you the truth, if PhoneTray worked in Linux I'd use that. Then I would have to find a FTP server software that runs in Linux. I could try Wine I guess. Maybe I'll buy another Dell mini and see about that.

I'm honestly curious why you continue to use FTP to transfer files over the internet when far superior and more secure protocols exist.

While admittedly I don't know exactly what you are are trying to do with this, you know there is almost assuredly an easier way right?

I mostly use it in the home network, but I can tap the FTP with my smartphone anywhere I have an Internet connection. I use SFTP.
