The little CPU that could?

Been reading articles and info about various new CPU, and the forthcoming Kaby Lake. I was pretty intrigued when I read about their 'mighty' new i3.

The i3 7350k is an unlocked, Hyper Threaded dual core unit and seems like a viable option for HTPC and other small PC projects.

Opinions/Thoughts on where this little guy fits into the next gen...?

Thermal Solution Specification PCG 2015D (130W)
I don't like anything that high in a HTPC. I know people use stuff that's 65W but even that seems a bit high to me. An Athlon 5350 is 25W and more than fast enough for video playback assuming you don't need 4k.

Whats the diff then between TSS (130W) and TDP (60W) on that CPU?

Doesn't sound too bad but I think the MSRP is a bit jacked up/high for what it is, especially when you can get a 6600K i5 for ~$200

Where's the 6700T love? Same TDP :p

Outside of AIO type of builds the expense seems a bit high when you can just get the 'normal' desktop version and enjoy higher clocks in most workloads.
