Help required as to what type Cat5e cable this is ?

Cat 5e cable is normally in twisted pairs, but this cable does not have twisted pairs, is it worth using to connect my router to set top box ?

That isn't Cat5E even though it's stamped as such. How does it expect to be 'UTP' without any twisted pairs?

Most of that would be used for phone wiring, you won't get any sort of acceptable performance out of Ethernet if you could even sync up due to crosstalk.

Also, the colors don't even adhere to the TIA standards.

It's more for phone/security systems. I have a bunch and plan on using it for speakers. My best friend's dad who worked at a phone company used the same stuff for his surround sound.
