Usb question

how many insertions and un- insertions is the average USB port read it for? What happens when you exceed that number of cycles? What negative affects would a loose USB port have on the connection? Is there a way to re-snug loosened USB ports?

Do you mean the number of times a female USB port on a computer can have something inserted, or the number of times a male USB port like a flash drive can be inserted? In either case, I don't know but I've never had that happen. Usually with flash drives the USB port itself tends to bend and break/lose connection from the PCB before the port itself breaks from use.

Yes, female. My Antec P100 has loose as a goose USB ports on the front. Like throwing a hot dog down a hallway.
