So I just kinda fixed my stuttering and I want to play some singleplayer games to finally take my mind off things.

So what games do you guys recommend. I literally haven't played anything except CS GO and League. What are some sick titles that you will never forget and will always stay your heart ?

All of those games are awesome, except I've never tried the Stanley Parable but I heard it is good/funny. I've recently found Marvel VS Capcom 2 in my closet for PS2, forgot how much fun that game is.

I'll go with the classics, AoE II, Stronghold, C & C, maybe Far Cry 4 and then... ELITE DANGEROUS. That game changed my gaming life, in fact, I rarely play anything else.

GhostRecon
F.E.A.R
BF2

You did say in my life...

FEAR scared the hell out of me when I played it for the first time. At Night. No lights in my room. Awesome experience.

I'm not a huge gamer overall, but I found Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and the 2 DLC for it to be some of the most fun and engaging games I've ever played. I even did the game through 2 additional times,-- just to try other difficulties and to experience different endings.

Weee I like this thread!

Mass Effect trilogy (Andromeda is probably gonna be shit though) (epic)
Bioshock 1, 2, and the last one, can't remember the name (Infinite, infinity? Who cares) (epic)
Elder scrolls 3-4-5
Fallout 3-NV-4 (especially 4) (epic)
Batman (all of them)
Deadpool
GTA IV
Residen Evil 4 (epic)
Dark Souls 1 (****ing nuts, played it like 4 times)
Deus Ex (the first one, never finished it, graphics are ass)

And games from PS2 I shall never forget:

Medi Evil 1-2
Nightmare Creatures

One for PC played but I hear it's great: The vanishing of Ethan Carter

I'm definitely forgetting a ton but that's all my memory could do :D

Undoubtedly:

1.) Final Fantasy 7
2.) Final Fantasy 10 (and I suppose 10-2 was pretty fun)
3.) The Last Remnant

I'm sure there are a ton more games, but these specifically came to mind due to the wonderful stories they had. I highly recommend them.

Well I really enjoyed the Trackmania series when I was like 9 or 10, TM United Forever is probably the game I played the most in my life. Now I'm having a blast with the Battlefield series.

I did not like one or three very much. I played all the way through one. It was pretty decent for the time but the second one was much better. The third one felt like I Half baked gameplay
Half baked game. Dammit Siri how do I hate you let me count the ways

Would have maybe ranked EOJ higher if I had thought of it sooner, I was truthy a world class legend at this game, recognised throughout every community from USA to Japan, UK to the Netherlands where there was a huge EOJ fan base, as probably one of the worlds most elite players and the worlds No.1 deck builder, unfortunately for that game I created a deck called "SKIESofHELL" that turned out to be unbeatably broken, I used to trade mark name my decks, "RIVERSofFIRE", "SEAofDESTRUCTION" that kind of thing, only problem was there was a world ranking system within the game, and you could watch the last games played by the worlds top 10 Players, I was on that list, ranks changed all the time but I was rarely out of the worlds top ten.

But then I created SKIESofHELL took me to Rank number 1 and I could not loose with it not ever, until everyone started to watch all my games and got to see my deck and how it was played, then everyone jsut copied it and the game turned into a complete mess where everyone was playing the same deck all the time, and when that deck was played off against itself all skill was taken away from the game, and the only deciding factor on who won was who drew lucky to get first move and everyone grew to learn exactly what that meant and could not even be bothered to continue the match once they saw the deck was "SKIESofHELL" so unless they drew first move they would just quit and curse the deck. The developers saw the problem and tried to fix it with an update releasing a new set of cards that could combat "SKIESofHELL" by closing it down with a set of 4 new character cards called "Zealots", only problem was this make the problem much worse, because these cards where so good at closing down the main attrition force behind "SKIESofHELL", they could close down everything else as well and became the new game breaker only worse because they where easier to play than attrition and everyone hated using Zealots becasue they where just boring to use ony you had to use then incase your opponent was playing "SKIESofHELL" at without Zealots in your deck you had no chance of winning, which turned it into a Paper, Scissors, Rock battle, where if you where playing SKIESofHELL you would win unless your opponent was using Zealots, so you had paper vs scissors, but then there was a Rock where if you have a SpeedDeck you would beat the Zealots but have to just hope your opponent was not playing SKIESofHELL.

Hence a really really great tactile strategy card game, played on PS3 with the PS3 eye camera, which held strong for a good couple of years, was destroyed by me personally when I created the perfect deck to reach rank number 1 in the world, only the deck was broken as shit with overpower and was copied by everyone thanks to the in game ability to watch all my replays while I was in the worlds top 10 ranked players. I bet this makes no sense to anyone who has never played and used to follow the EOJ forums, and if you did used to play I bet that sparks your memory of what went down to destroy that great game.

In my experience it is:
1) Witcher 3
2) Dark Souls
3) Persona 4 & 5
4) Dragon Age Origins
I mostly play RPG games so I don't really know much about other genre.
