Buying a videocard

I am interested in buying a video card for my configuration(for last year has been running on integrated which is awful) : i5 4460 CPU
500W power supply
Gigabyte D85-HD3 mobo
The card should be around 160 dollars,I've been thinking about a
Asus GeForce GTX 1050 2GB OR
Gainward GeForce GTX 1050Ti 4GB
The asus has a bigger clock speed but the gainward has more cuda cores which I have no idea what they mean,and also the card could be AMD.
Any answer is well recieved and thanks in advice.

Out of the two you mentioned, I'd clearly go with the 1050 Ti. If you can spend another 170 lei or so, you can go with this RX 470, the cheapest I could find
