Anyone else have this issue?

I have a 2 year old iPhone 6S. Just got iOS 11 and lately it's been either:

A: shutting off with about 60% still supposedly left

B: battery percentage meter is frozen at 100% all day until phone suddenly shuts off.

So has Apple released another shitty update or is my battery on it's way out??

Guys, holy crap, I actually fixed it and I'm so excited this actually worked!

Literally all I did was toggle my battery percentage display on and off a shitload of times until it recalibrated..

Well... this morning my phone battery is stuck at 100% again. God dammit. I may as well just get a prepaid at Walmart and port my number to it, at least on those phones the damn battery works!!

That's like saying you're going to go buy a $300 Honda Civic from Craigslist when your 2 year old Honda Accord had the fuel gauge stop working.

Just be patient, they fix bugs ya know. Have you contacted Apple for support?

Dem expensives. I'm probably going to save and buy my next phone outright. This monthly payment for an increasingly obsolete phone is depressing after a year and a half.
I got a cheap phone from China about a year ago. It has 64 GB of storage, 3 gigs of RAM, a Helio x10 (I think) and a 13 mp 4k camera. Got it from gearbest (China store) on sale for 200$. Also has latest Android O that's almost stock.

Ok so to clarify for y’all, here’s what’s going on:

My iPhone battery percentage is stuck at 100% until it dies and shuts off. When I plug it in the battery meter says something like 11% and it works normally as it charges up, but once it’s back at 100% it’ll get stuck again

I’ve tried about every hack imaginable for trying to fix this; toggling low power mode on and off, toggling the percentage display on and off but nothing will work
