random keyboard input lag

I have a Logitech wireless keyboard. here is the link to the keyboard and mouse combo, but i dont use that mouse. I have a different Logitech wireless mouse.

I have confirmed its not a computer/tower issue as I have connected this to two different computers. I have moved the little usb connectors to different ports front and back of the pc. In game randomly i get massive input lag from my keyboard. These typically last about 15-30 seconds. Sometimes moving my keyboard a little bit in any direction can fix it or sometimes it just goes away on its own. From what I remember I dont believe the mouse is having that same issue (or to this degree) or i'm just to upset about not being about to move to notice any issues with my mouse. This issue from what I remember happened right about when I got the device. My keyboard and mouse both sit on a side out tray that can move. I also only really notice it in game. Is there anything else I can try or has anybody else heard of such an issue. I feel like I have ruled many things out but it seems weird to me that it would be my keyboard since it was brand new when I got it.
 
Its probably just the transmitter in the keyboard since you have tried different pc's. Not much diagnosing you can do besides what you have already done.
 
If you have a 2.4 GHz airspace that is super congested with wifi/baby-monitor/phones/etc then you could see this behavior. I have created that behavior in the past with an access point on my desk a couple of inches away from the keyboard (Logitech K350).

You could try it on a laptop somewhere else, if it's the same problem I'd lean more towards hardware. If it works fine I'd lead more towards interference, which you really can't do a whole lot about other than get a wired keyboard or wireless keyboard that operates in a different airspace.

Components will fail over time. Not saying that's the case here, but everything is brand new at some point.
 
The problem is with most things is that I cant reduplicate it on command and I only notice it while gaming (online or offline). I dont really have a way of testing the keyboard anywhere else, so im not sure how else to narrow it down.
 
You may have a driver or process interfering with the mouse. Or the game is interfering with the USB driver. Did you install a mouse/keyboard driver that came with your mouse/keyboard, or did you let Windows manage it? Try one or the other. If you used the driver, uninstall it. If this driver has a lot of fancy fluff with it, like mouse gestures and other things, that could be the source of the problem. Try just the Windows driver. You could try running USBDeview and removing all USB devices and replug in your mouse/keyboard USB xmitter. But be warned, if you have a chipset issue, you'll have to use a PS/2 mouse to reinstall the chipset driver. I had that issue.

Uninstall the mouse/keyboard driver. Restart computer and try letting Windows install its driver. See what happens.

I have tested it again and my mouse from what I can tell doesn't have any issues when the keyboard goes nuts. Its only my keyboard. So if the 2 transmitters are right next to each other wouldnt you assume both the mouse and keyboard would both act up? However again I only notice this when gaming which I suppose say its some type of interference.
 
Oh, you have two xmitters? There's what your problem might be. You should buy a keyboard/mouse combo that has one xmitter.

He's probably talking about the transmitters in the keyboard and mouse. The usb you plug into the pc is a receiver not a transmitter.

Sorry I meant the receiver. I have them next to each other. 1 for the keyboard and 1 for the mouse. If that is the issue can I buy a receiver that will hook up to both my devices.
 
Then you probably have interference between the 2. Has this always happened since you had it? Can you get a wired keyboard and test?
 
What specific devices are they? If they have the unifying receiver you can allocate both devices to one dongle.
