Video files' thumbnails in a folder keep loading

Hello kind members

In every folder on my computer that includes a video file, the thumbnail that previews the video, keeps loading every time I open that specific folder, no matter how many times I open it when the computer is on.

But before, it used to load once and it would NOT load/reload in the future and it made it faster to see the contents of the folder.

I have no idea what has changed.
Please help because it is getting irritating for me.
Thanks

Have you ran any general cleanup software such as Ccleaner to get your system performance back? Is your hard drive running out of space? How much memory is installed? Might want to scan your system for malware as well.

In addition to Ccleaner run System Ninja. It will find temp files that Ccleaner won't. In fact, massive amounts of them. You may be surprised. I use both Ccleaner and System Ninja.

Thanks so much for the suggestion. My hard drives were actually running out of free space. I emptied them of the large files that I didn't need or had already backed up and everything's fine now.

I'll download the Ccleaner and System Ninja to scan/clear my computer.

Check out the program Windirstat. Let it run and you will be given a presination of all the stuff that is taking up the most space. From there you can decide what to do with that data. Keep it, transfer it somewhere else or delete it.
