Need help on HP 600-1390 TouchSmart

I have an Hp 600-1390. Recently, it won't boot suddenly.

I have tried to press the F11 key when starting up hoping that I can do the System Recovery. But the computer does not response to the F11 key.

I can go to the BIOS set by pressing the F10 key. The BIOS shows that the hard drive is disabled. I have tried to enable the hard drive, but finally the hard drive is still showing "DISABLED".

I have tried replacing the hard drive and the cable which connects the hard drive to the mainboard. But it still won't boot and I think the problem is not because of the cable and/or the hard drive.

I have also tried booting with a Windows 7 hoping to reinstall Windows 7 to it. But it also could not find the hard drive to install the new Windows 7.

What else can I do to save my computer?

I guess I might need the HP system recovery disk. Am I correct?
I have checked with the HP website. But I could not find they have such disk for sale or download.

After starting, it stops here.

When trying to reinstall the Windows 7, it could not find the hard drive to do so.

Where can I find the driver files that it asks for when reinstalling Windows 7?

Well if you swapped the hard drive you're going to need to install Windows on it. A blank hard drive won't do you any good and land you exactly where you are. Likely the original drive either had the OS go corrupt or the drive was dead/dying.

Also looks like you have your drive disabled in the BIOS, although I saw that screenshot and now it disappeared...? Make sure that's enabled and selected to the drive.

Thanks for your reply.
After I swapped the hard drive, I had tried to install Windows on it. But it could not go further after finding no hard drive to do the installation, like the last two photos I posted.

I have tried to enable the hard drive in BIOS. But when going back to the main screen of the BIOS, the hard drive become Disabled again.

On the main tab of your BIOS for "1st drive" it says disabled. If you select that can you change it to anything else?

Hmm. Not sure what to tell you then. You changed the SATA cable too? Might be bad SATA port.

Yes, I could change the "1st drive" to Enabled. I did that by selecting the "1st drive" and hit enter. It then goes to another page (with the name "Main" on top) where I can change the "1st drive" to Enabled. Then I select "Save and Exit" and hit enter, but the screen does not go back to the main tab of BIOS. I can only go back to the main tab by selecting "Exit" and hit enter. When I go back to the main tab, it still states that the 1st drive is Disabled.

Go to the boot tab and make sure hdd is set for first boot device.
Thanks for your suggestion.
On the boot tab, the original first boot device is the CD/DVD drive. I have changed it to the hard drive. But I could save the change (when I select "Save and Exit", there is no change (no exit)). When I turn off the computer and go back again to the BIOS, the first boot device is still the CD/DVD drive.
