2 network interfaces in 1 machine

Hi guys,

I am trying to get a PC at the church I attend to have both an Ethernet connection for network access and also a Ethernet connection that sends a control signal to the projector.

The machine only has one Ethernet port. My question is if go and purchase a PCI express network card to put in the machine will the two network adapters work simultaneously or will windows not like the setup resulting in only one interface working at a time.

Your feedback and suggestions will be much appreciated.

Yes, it will be fine.

However, you may need to do manual setup of addressing on the projector interface, depending on how it works.
