Gaming build viable with Just wifi

is it viable to build a gaming pc and only use wifi? Im not a serious gamer so I dont need a suoer fast connection. Thoughts?

How fast would the wifi be? Would it be online gaming?

I use a Netgear AC600 USB adapter and have had no issues as of yet with gaming. The adapter was just over $30, and I'm about 60 to 70 feet from the router.

AC wifi through USB seems to have had a massive advancement. I have super low latency and will max my internet speed out at 15MB/s downloads. Thirty bucks well spent.

Will the service provider be supplying the wifi router? Or do you have your own?

Cable companies offer many different speed tiers, so that statement means nothing. Would need exact speed tier to give you a good answer.

I game on wireless. So long as you have the right equipment and the ISP package you're on provides low latency and reasonable bandwidth, you would have no problem with playing on wireless.
