I'd go with the Dell if all you're gonna do is use office Apps, printing and browsing the net. It's cheaper too. You shouldn't be looking at paying more than that for office/home orientated things. There's little difference between both CPUs.

The 8100 is a quad core while the 7100 is only a dual core cpu. Unfortunately, I'm finding AMD older A series cpus slower then molasses. Definitely go intel I5 cpu and get an SSD drive, you won't regret it.

Would you go for a 120GB 2.5" SATA III SSD, which is included in the price, or this 120GB M.2 SATA III SSD for £3 extra

Unless its an NVME drive there is no speed difference between a sata and an M2. However, you might find 120gb a little too small. General size for an SSD is 250gb. As long as you don't plan on installing a bunch of programs then you should be fine on the 120.

Neither of those are any good for gaming but you are not going to be doing that. Go for the Dell. I say that simply because Dell do a very good home based back up service if they cannot fix your computer over the internet using Dell Connect. Just make sure you back up all your personal files on a regular basis just in case.

if you are doing office stuff, you probably best to add a cheap £40 240GB SSD to your existing pc
new pc may not be necessary.

however, if you go for new pc, i recommend you get something with standard micro atx tower.
upgrading or fixing those sff pc in future is a bit of headache.

The second link is not working, the item is no longer available according to the message I get. The Dell ain't that bad though. I would pop a SSD into it, but if you've never used one then you'll be fine.

EDIT: I'm an idiot, the other link probably isn't working because this was linked August 29th... my mistake.
