Windows XP Custom Throwback

Hey everyone. So currently I am attempting to get all the parts to make a "computer for yesterday" out of today's parts. I would like to build a custom PC that has Windows XP Professional with the latest Service Pack before the discontinuation of support from Microsoft... I want to make what back then would've been a beast of a computer.. Something that, whenever playing the games from that time period, I have minimal issues if any at all. I already have a parts list, so if anyone could tell me if i'm headed in the right direction, it'd be much appreciated... For the CPU I have a AMD - Athlon X4 950 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor paired with a Corsair - H60 (2018) 57.2 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler, for the MB I have a MSI - B350M GAMING PRO Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard paired with 8GB of single channel RAM... I have a 500GB SSD... A Gigabyte - GeForce GT 1030 DDR4 2GB Video Card and a Syba - SD-PEX63034 24-bit 48 KHz Sound Card... For Ethernet I have a TP-Link - TG-3468 PCI-Express x1 1000 Mbit/s Network Adapter.. For keeping the case cool I have the Corsair - HD120 RGB 3-Pack w/Controller 54.4 CFM 120mm Fans.. Also have a 22 inch Sceptre display ...

The drivers for the motherboard you've chosen don't support Win XP. The drivers at MSI's website for Windows 7 might work, but I have my doubts.

I'd look at the LGA 1156 platform.

I don't even think the GT 1030 has a XP compatible driver.

Actually I can and already have found all of the drivers I need to load a fresh copy of Windows XP Professional 64 bit. As far as Windows ending support, I honestly don't care. I don't need or want support because I'm not playing anything modern and I'm not going online with it so it doesn't matter .It'll do what I want it to so thats what matters .Thank you for your reply

That registry hack is only meant for kiosks. So you may get an update that will break your computer.
Possible but I imagine it's mostly just small security tweaks and nothing else. That said I wouldn't jack with it myself, just run XP normally if you're going to.
