Hi.. UK content is pissing me off! Old movies, only netflix originals worth-watching here. Any recommendations to go about? Need to hit US lib. Thinking of using a good netflix vpn but not sure if its going to work. Although the guide says it'd. A friend is also using it. Sometimes it works. Not every often though.

Yes, very boring. I paid them for a couple of months then stopped, which can be done quite easily with Netflix I'm glad to say. I also stopped paying Sky for their rubbish a long time ago. What very little television I now watch I watch for freeish on Freeview. I still have to pay the television licence which is a huge niggle but I cannot see any legal way around that.

Mind you if the, so called, comedy programs we get from America are anything to go by their telly is infinetly worse than ours.

Never used Sky. My dad had it so I knew how pathetic it was. Netflix is bugging me. Don't know what to do with it now.

The last part cracked me up :D

Narcos
Haunting of Hill House (just started it)
Bojack Horseman
Black Mirror
Ozark
Parks and Rec (might be region locked)
American Vandal
Glow
Love
Stranger Things
Mindhunter
Breaking Bad (might be region locked)
Atypical

Might not be into all of those but they're all high quality shows and one's I've personally watched. Couple might be region locked as mentioned.

Shows are good. No complains. All most all of the originals are worth watching. I want movies. US libraries get more updates than any other region. That is my concern.

This is why I resort to other such methods for acquiring movies to watch.

I can't watch a lot of UK or US tv because of region locking (I'm in spain), even if I'm willing to pay. Steaming services suck here and often don't have the option to watch programs in English. The last time I paid for anything tv related was in 2001 when I bought a vhs copy of the fast and the furious. I'm willing to pay for English tv, but if they region lock me out out of it then I guess I will continue to get my fix by other means.

Region locking is seriously getting me now! I mean why do you create such difference? Okay I understand if its related to language only. But these guys are deteriorating content in other regions. Only US is getting supreme content (irrespective of the streaming services) I mean why? The content should be same.
