I have a Dell XPS 8700 pc. I have a 256kb SSD & a 2Terrabyte HDD. I read so many conflicting articles & posts on this issue that I don't know which one to use for my bootup drive. My HDD failed a few weeks ago so I cloned a new one from the SSD & installed it. Now which one should I use to boot from & why? Any help would be much apprieciated. Thanks

Your boot drive should be an SSD as its quite faster. Bootup will only take mere seconds compared about a minute. Use the 2TB drive for storage.

Well thanks for the advice, I was contemplating thats the way I should go.
Once you use an SSD as a boot drive you'll never go back to using a regular hdd boot drive.

Depending on the size of the SSD, you should only install games/apps that will benefit the faster access of the SSD, then put all others on the HDD.
