Help Razer Blackwidow Chroma V2 or Corsair K70 (RGB Version)

Looking to buy a new Keyboard. I narrowed my search down to 2 different models and brands. I have to have a wrist rest and has to be RGB. Either Cherry MX Silent or Green for Razer or Blue Switches for the Corsair. Has to be clicky I know what all switches sound like so don't want anything other than Blue Switches for the Corsair however would settle for the Cherry MX Silent, because I like them even though they are more on the quieter end.

Do not like reds or browns whatsoever.

Its a tough decision to make and I can find both at around the same price point used on ebay. Never owned a Corsair keyboard and never owned a Razer keyboard (or product before)

Both look gorgeous and both have their up and down sides between the both in design. So its a tough pick between the two.

I am currently using an AZIO MGK1 from Newegg, and it has not dissapointed me for my first mechanical keyboard, it has blue switches.

Sorry for making it long but after examining both keyboard in detail I notice the Font difference between the two on the keys, they both look good honestly just seems the Corsair K70 is a bit brighter am I right about this?

Thanks for all the input I can get.

I'd go with the Corsair.
Definitely corsair. Build quality is amazing and they look great.
Yeah after looking at video comparison I am highly leaning towards the corsair as well. I agree with the build quality it looks strong and sturdy I really like that. Also like the larger Font on the Corsair.

Awesome, now just gotta wait to find it at the right price. Going to buy the Corsair then.

Thanks

Hey guys a quick updated. Ended up buying a Corsair Strafe RGB from eBay today. Its the one with the Cherry MX Silent switches. I am super excited, should be getting to me pretty soon hopefully. I think I did the right choice for sure.

Thanks guys.

Quick Update #2 this thread is probably dead anyway. Got the Corsair Strafe RGB With Silent MX Switches. Hated the thing, put it up for sale the next day, just didn't like the switches at all. Got lucky saw a Corsair Strafe RGB with Blue Switches for sale, nabbed that for $70 plus 1 year Square Trade Warranty for $10 and I am in love with this thing. This thing screams quality for a mechanical keyboard. Just from looking at Videos of Razer and having the Strafe in front of me I can tell this keyboard is far superior in quality. Needless to say I am in love with it. Only regret is not buying one of these earlier.

Anyway. Cheers guys.

PS: The RGB Colors on this thing look gorgeous honestly.

The most important thing to me is ergonomics, the keyboard has to be comfortable and I need to be able to hit the right keys at the right time. I've had numerous different keyboards over the years using many different switches and I've come to the conclusion that if they click and don't feel like mush, then I'm happy. Right now I'm using the k50 with rubber dome switches and I love it, maybe my favorite so far. Personally I don't care about RGB, I just need to be able to set the keys to orange as this seems imo to give you clearest keys, I find other stronger colours are distracting and dazzling making the keys harder to see, especially in low light, I guess this is why so many car manufactures use orange lights for their dashboard lighting.

I'm happy you have found a keyboard you like :)

Eyyy! Thank you! I agree with the "Click and don't feel like mush" part. That plays a huge role for me as well. Such an amazing upgrade coming from an AZIO MGK1.

Thanks again. Cheers!
