FireFox default search engine issue

I have Google set as my default search engine. It says this in the Options and it's in fact the only search engine listed in the Options. On my address/search bar at the top, it says "Search with Google or enter address." However, when I type something in there to search, it takes me to Yahoo! search. I notice that it initially tries to use Google, then it reroutes to a site called...

mps.eanswers.com.

Then, it goes to Yahoo! Search.

Any idea how I can get rid of this?

Run Malwarebytes and ADwcleaner and issue should go away as its a browser hijacker.

I get the feeling this is the answer to a lot of things.
