The i7-8700 is way overkill for the 1660ti. I'd opt for the AM4 platform and go AMD Ryzen 5 2600X. You'll pretty much be capable of playing any modern title maxed at 60 FPS, only being limited by the 1660.

A 550 watt power supply is more than enough, I'd drop from that 800 watt.

Did you choose Windows 10 Pro for professional use? You'd probably be served well by home edition.

Again, I'd avoid the Samsung Evo line of SSDs. The HP EX920 is a far superior SSD or go with the $40 cheaper Intel 660p.

I want windows 10 pro because it has group policy editor to control windows environment. home edition does not have group editor. For example I want to
specifically stopping Microsoft edge to pre launch at windows startup , when system is idle, and each time Microsoft edge is closed.
To do this do this I need to run gpedit.msc. you can better control of what is running and not to run. now I can use regetis, but I don't like fooling around with registry

Yes you can. But I wouldn't use IE anyway. It's no longer updated. Edge doesn't automatically run at boot.

I was reading edge does preload and run at boot in all the websites. are you sure

Even if Edge did, it doesn't matter, especially after you upgrade to an SSD. You could have 500 programs and a virus scan running and it won't slow anything down.

As John stated, save the $80 and go with Home Edition, especially if you were only using professional to prevent certain Windows programs from running. The SSD will eliminate program based slowdowns.
