Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 3rd Gen (20BT) NVME error 2103

I put Adata SX6000 Lite into my 3rd Gen Carbon and got 2103 Error. Some Lenovo Forum folks share strange method of making it work, but I would rather buy another compatible SSD. Which one could you recommend?

The SX62000 should be compatible and you'll likely have the same issue with other SSDs. Have you tried updating the BIOS?

Seems that this laptop is only compatible with M.2 SATA. At least Patriot unit, I put there works just fine :)

The Gen 3 is compatible with M.2 SATA and M.2 PCIe SSDs. It ships with either option depending on SKU as per their website and you can see review videos of PCIe SSDs being pulled out and put in.

It likely boils down to a simple BIOS update as other forums have stated and this isn't abnormal.
