HI! I hope I´m not to late,
But since it is a laptop try to: Click on the Keyboards "
windows button" and select: The
Cog Wheel (
settings) on the left,
scroll down and select:
Update and Security, click:
Recovery in the
left pane, in the
right pane it should say:
Reset this computer, followed by a "button":
Get Started!
At first Try to select to reset and SAVE all your files and accounts… And try to see if you can make your old account a LOCAL ACCOUNT! In that way you may get access to any locally saved files that you may save... The connect that local account to a NEW microsoft-account that YOU are the master off.
BUT IF the locally saved files are not important (s.a. if you have them in a backup), then reset your computer and NOT saving any old file and accounts.. THIS IS THE BEST WAY! Since you get to name the 1:st account as PCAdmin etc. run, Windows update install antivirus software s.a.
https://home.sophos.com (Free for 3 PCs or macs)
Then create a regular useraccount for yourself..
And By doing so, you may always use the PCadmin-account as a rescue if similar things happens again.. (just logon as PCAdmin, create a new account, copy files from the old account to the computers shared files.. So logon with your new account and copy or move the files from the shared folders to your secure and private files! Connect your new account to a microsoft account and you are up and running again in no time… with little hassle!)
It will save you a lot of time and trouble in the future
