Intel's New 10th Generation Comet Lake (Unofficial) Thread

So I am very excited for the release of Comet Lake, Intel's 10th Generation CPU line up. I was hoping to make this thread so users can share any news that becomes available until the release of the 10th generation CPU's.

I was in the process of building a new Z390 System with a i7 9700K even bought the Motherboard for it but 2 days ago I heard the news that Intel is going to release new CPU's possibly early next year.

If you haven't heard about it here is one article I found giving some information on the new Comet Lake CPU Line up.

As I mentioned above please feel free to share any new information you find.

Thanks guys.

Those product names are terrible. Is 5 digits really necessary, frequently with a letter indicator too?

You're completely right... They need a new numbering scheme similar to how AMD moved from FX to Ryzen.

Ironically, to more align with Intel's numbering since that's what the public knew.

I personally think Intel has entered damage control mode since AMD is starting to steal a fair share of the market right now.

On the bright side, new Intel NUC's have appeared in the wild. Looks like they've already gone on pre-sale with the Core i7-10710U, Core i5-10210U and Core i3-10110U as options.

Looking forward to it!

I saw those! still no solid word on the desktop processors tho. Just gonna build a 9700K build for now and upgrade later if its worth it.
