BOOTING SPEED

my computer boots from when i press the power button to desktop screen in 15 seconds, i have a hard drive @7200rpm with no ssd
i have never seen a computer boot with a hard drive so fast why does it boot that fast any ideas would be appreciated thanks

intel core i52500s
nvidia gtx 760

you sure your not booting from sleep?thats very fast for an ssd let alone a mechanical drive.
 
Aside from waking it up from sleep mode, is there a lot of data on the drive?
Windows 10 tends to boot especially fast already, the less data there is on a hard drive the faster it will boot
Most maintenance I tend to do to "speed up" older systems with mechanical hard drives for free is to free up some space on them

IIRC some of those had an 'ultra fast boot' setting on a few boards that sped up the timeouts on device discovery and similar.

My PC takes longer to show the POST/BIOS screen than it does to boot the rest of the way :p

all there is on the drive is a few total war games and football manager 2019
there is nothing else on there only windows 10
