Should I buy precon. or make it myself?

Hi. Reason I ask is that I'm only looking to do things like record real-life vids of myself, and be in on stream chats and cam sites like Omegle. Budget is 1000-1200 and I also need a monitor, possibly a camera and a couple other accessories the latter of which I'm willing to skimp on, and, so, all that has got to be included. Curious if my budget is more than enough and if so by how much? Want to ensure performance / quality experience on all fronts. Anyway, thanks for your consideration and sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

Your budget is more than enough for your needs, but not by too much if you're including peripherals. Your question about buying pre-configured or making it yourself, I'd answer to make it yourself. If your research has gotten you to this forum, you're capable of researching how to assemble a PC. If you're looking for help picking out components and peripherals, it's a bit easier if you link some stuff you're looking at and folks here can steer you from there.

Thanks for the reply. I ended up buying a low-end gaming build I saw somewhere and with everything else I needed it was an additional 300-400$, which I thought it would be, so it worked it about right.

Not necessarily a bad choice sometimes. Makes life simpler. Down the line, if you need assistance with an upgrade or something, c'mon back!
