Long-distance (Ubiquity?) Wi-Fi?

I would like to establish a Wi-Fi link to my home from construction sites. The sites are all within 5 feet of my home. Can I buy something that can broadcast back to my house? Or maybe install something at my house that would receive signals? It would be for installing security cameras at the construction site and using my home Internet service to do it.

Btw... It is super weird that I got an advertisement email from a Ubiquity company so shortly after making this post. I haven't bought anything from them in 4 years and just get an email today?

I've hooked these up before myself, so I think I could do it if I knew what equipment to get.

Five miles is a bit lengthy, you'd need a reasonably sized mast at each side with line of sight.

It'd be a lot more cost effective to just get cellular based hotspots you could just VPN over.

Where do I find a cellular based hotspot? It would be more like 2 miles on average, but I was saying 5 to be safe. I think it would still need the masts either way.

Check with your cell phone carrier if they sell hotspots, I bet you they do.

You can buy a mifi (mobile wifi) router from any mobile provider, these use a SIM and data contract and provide a local wifi hotspot. Install one on-site and you can then connect to the hotspot. All the devices will then have internet access and you can share or remote access as needed

It's better you try to get a hotspot and when turn on the hotspot it can connect many devices at a time which depends on its brand.
And you can recharge with any local ISP for internet.

I just got a hotspot through my mobile provider. Do you know a type of camera I can buy to use with this? All of the cameras I've seen so far want me to sign up with their company. I just want a camera that I can own that I can access whenever I want, but that won't be eating data 24/7.
