Now i remember her saying she lost the software cd to this printer? anyone know how to download new software for it? I have an old Epson workforce wf-2650 that was laying around in my garage. Im not sure if it works. Some rats got to the power supply cable. Must be from years ago. How do i fire up and test out this thing? Im not sure if it works like i said may have been placed in the garage as an old printer. Anyway any software needed to get this to work on my lenovo? also what year is this thing and do i need a double ended usb cable to hook it up to my laptop or is it wireless? any information would be great. Believe it was just put in the garage to get it out of the way but may have been my sisters she moved out in 2015 and never gave me the printer software cd. Thanks pics attached and where rats made it to the power cable what is the replacement cable part number and any way to download the correct software or is this outdated junk? Big heavy all in one

Im having trouble getting it to print copies. You load the paper on the top correct or the lower drawer? And set the paper you need coped face down on the glass screen? i tried as far i can remember and its printing blanks. It sometimes says place the on the glass screen which i have and hit continue. Cant get it to print nothing but blanks tried a white paper with writing face down. What is the lower compartment with paper for? the top is the standard copy/print loader correct? In both cases when i hit the copy option and set the peper needed copied down on the glass it sends paper thru both upper and lower trays coming out as blanks. Whats the problem here? The ink cartridges show as full.

Yes I do. If inkjet printers don't print on a regular basis say once a month or so, the ink dries out and clogs it all up. A laser printer won't do this as the toner never dries up.

great the ink levels show full except the bw is 7/8 . when test print pattern says "clean the" on screen. So your saying a laser printer i can have sit on my room shelf for months even years and still function as it should? Where as the inkjet if it sits without printing monthly it will clog?

If you only need black and white printing get a laser. They may cost more initially but they last much longer. They also print faster. Get a Brother laser printer. I have the mfc2740dw and love it. Have had it for over 3 years. I'll never go back to inkjet.

Hey by chance do you know how to get the ink cartridges to slide over on a wf2650 so i can run cleaning fluid thru nozzles the cartidges holder is locked into the right has a top overhang so i cant slide out the cartidges unless i can move it over manually? Whats the cheapest laser printer in black? sometimes they have 50% coupon codes like office depot or walmart. ARE YOU SUGGESTING ANY LAZER PRINTER? I seen theyre a bit more expensive i can try to get the two printers i have nozzles cleaned with syringes tube fed. I have another white printer in the garage ill bringl it inside and see what kind it is. Really just need it print out birthday vouchers free red robin ihop and such black and white yearly from office depot 16 cents each. I can wait to purchase a printer just seen that nice pixma all in one inkjet in black at walmart for 50$.

what does this thing run new and what would you sell it for needing a cleaning?

Just a regular printer is around $100 but thats all it does is print, doesn't scan or copy.

If you want something that scans, prints, copies, then you'll be looking at something like this.

Or if something with an ADF tray then it would be like this one.

Fax capability added would be this one.

Walmart has this one for $139

Out of stock at walmart with a price of 70 bucks, but to be honest, its trash. Would cost more to clean it then buy a new one unless you actually fixed printers.

great thanks ill probably use office depot for the time being. Sometimes they have nice deals 20-50% off thru online order. Ill wait so a lazer printer never needs ink cartidge maintenance and such i was browsing office depot the other day cheapest was just over 100$ walmart had the all in one black pixma for 50$. I was able to get an ideapad 3 lenovo regular 300$ for the price of 149$ from walmart for black friday. Do you you think this 1/5" 35x47" plexiglass would work well as holding my 30" wide 15" deep study desk just enough space to roll around on my chair would have enough room to fit it all on the plexiglass.
