Hi,
I often put my usb stick into my work computer so i can take work home to complete.
However, it is now blatantly obvious that they have used it to put spy software on my home laptop. They have heard things i have said whilst at home.
How do i remove this spy software.?
(i am not an official covid "working from home" person...i just take work home to work on, and do better work for the company)

Do you have a microphone attached to the computer? If not, there is no way to record a conversation. Scan your usb stick and your computer with Malwarebytes.

Thanks, the laptop has a microphone built into it...they have somehow managed to hack into it, because they definetely heard what i said...they were repeating my words to each other out loud, to kind of let me know that they had listened in on me.
I have Norton on the laptop, so i am a bit put off buying more software to stop this kind of thing.

Anyway, my laptop is obviously transmitting my useage back to them.....they can hear what i say, and can see what websites i go on to...how can i stop this? The computer is running very slow, and i guess its because of their spy software?

Format and reinstall windows on your laptop, format the usb drive and keep it safe with you.

RAM is volatile storage which loses its contents upon loss of power.

Memory-resident malware is simply fileless malware that's temporarily stored in RAM as it is powered-on/active, but loses that data upon shutdown or reboot.
