Good Hard Dive Manager Tool?

Can anyone recomend a good user friendly hard drive manager tool? I'm just getting sick & tired of how bad windows 10 is at handling external hard drives. Also the settings & how to get to formatting & diagnostics tools is way to clustered with to many steps. I just want a simple easy to use all in one hard drive program that detects, diagnoses & formats drives with ease.

I'd just stick with the manufacturer's software if they have any and use that for diagnosis/testing. Other than that, what functionality are you missing that Windows can't do in a couple clicks? Formatting is pretty darn easy.

Its buggy half the time & generally just a clusterfucked pain in the ass. Can't format or do much with a drive if all the right click does is take me to a useless properties page with no hint at what could be wrong with the drive. I end up having to do some real digging to see what's going on with hard drives from time to time. Also why hide disk manager with having to press windows then X to access it? A simple icon or a link to it in the start menu would have sufficed. I just want a simple more direct program. An Icon that includes all the necessary hard drive tools & maybe a few other more useful hard drive settings Windows typically can't do. Not saying its impossible but they could have done more to make it significantly easier & significantly better.

Always use the manufacturers program to scan the drive for errors or to check reliability. You'll get the best results from that, not some generic programs that does it all.

How about put a shortcut to diskmanagement on your desktop?

Use minitool partition wizard to partition/move partitions, resize drives.

Seems like you are complaining over simple stuff.

Start button > "disk management"
or
Start + R + "diskmgmt.msc" + Enter. Format to your heart's content. Really should be able to do most anything regarding formats in there. Shortcut for easy access.

As John said, manufacturer is ideal as they'll report most accurately versus other 3rd party options that might misflag things. Seen it regularly.

What exactly is your issue? It's honestly pretty basic functionality.

What is your definition of real digging? What are you observing and what are you trying to solve?
how to get to formatting & diagnostics tools is way to clustered with to many steps.
As per @johnb35 You can make a shortcut to diskmgmt.msc on your desktop if you want, two clicks and you're where you want to be.
Its buggy half the time & generally just a clusterfucked pain in the ass.
This is a user issue and not a technology one.
