Also, should I keep the "Enable write caching on the device (the SSD)" checked like it is by default?
 
Generally the default options are the default for a reason. The dialog for them is pretty self explanatory too.

Leave stuff alone. Are you having some perceived issues with your SSD or just trying to maximize performance?
 
Back when I regularly used a guide for installing Windows on an SSD they note you should turn it off to reduce wear on the drive. But a normal drive will outlive you so no real reason to.
