Hi,
Currently I have Windows 10 64/bit, Intel Core i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz, 32.0 GB RAM on my GP72 7RD Leopard and cannot upgrade to Windows 11 having message that my comp is not compatible to do so?!

That processor doesn't support the upgrade to windows 11. You may also not have a tpm module on that system or secure boot enabled. The only way to get 11 is to do a fresh install and follow a special procedure to bypass the upgrade requirements for 11.

Follow the guide here if you really want to upgrade.

Thanks John!
It’s strange; my daughter comp is much older and slower, not close capable as mine and she upgrade to W11 with no problem.
Now, my W10 works perfect and just wandering if I need that 11 at all. What you think?
Also if I somehow manage to upgrade will be my files, programs etc. remain or I could list them?

I'd just leave it 10. Works fine. I have no intent to upgrade until I'm forced.

Windows 11 is fine too. The TPM nonsense is bollocks and can be integrated or simply ignored. Multiple methods to do both.
You could also dual boot, try out 11, and either delete 10 later and expand your 11 partition, or the revert back to 10 and expand that partition.
Dual booting is super easy these days, particularly between 11 and 10. You're be presented with a menu upon start up, or your can enable a default choice.
Either way, this whole talk about windows 10 is fine, and true, but it also happens EVERY time a new OS comes out. Some on here still hold on tight to 7.
