First of all my windows account is not activated. Ive tried numerous times even ordered windows 11 from amazon and it would still not activate. Now my problem is that the wifi constantly disconnects. I will reset all my settings for connection and within two or three weeks it goes back to constantly disconnecting. It disconnects like every ten minutes and I have to manually disconnect and reconnect . After reconnecting it will disconnect again within a few minutes. It did not used to do this but my mother board was replaced and now its a constant thing. What can I check or buy to make this thing work as it should? All other devices in the house do not have this problem. ASUS motherboard and PC.

Was it replaced with the exact same motherboard? What is the error code when trying to activate your copy of windows? Is this a desktop pc or laptop or what? Have you tried using a usb wifi adapter to see if it still cuts out? My guess is that when motherboard was replaced the new one has a different wireless chip in it and has the wrong driver installed for the wifi. And if you are having problems activating windows then thats another clue that you don't have the same motherboard as before. Were you given a new activation key from amazon? Is it for the same version of windows which you have installed? We need a lot more information here then when you posted.

Unsure what a windows account has to do with wifi
Yes , I am myself . Just thought id throw it out there. I dont know if its possible that the settings are not holding and getting reset at every update since its not active.

The one year old mother board stopped working and taking it to a big box store to get checked out they said the motherboard was fried. After pulling teeth , Asus replaced it with the same model number but cant guarantee its the exact same. It looked used but they did not say and I could not tell.
The previous version of windows was version 10 and since I had to reinstall all my job programs we have currently went to 11 . So its a different version , now its 11. I ordered home version 11 from Amazon, after numerous attempts it comes back with the "invalid product key". Uninstalling all previous windows files and doing a fresh install from the provided cd , gave the same result (invalid product key). My next option is to take it to the big box store and buy the windows from them and have them install it. This is with a home PC.
I have a wireless adapter I can try and will also update the wifi driver ASAP.

I have been on the PC for about 4 hrs today and its not happened but this is rare. I would like to fix this issue and make this bullet proof since this is also a back up work computer when I work from home and cant have it loosing connection.

So if you did a fresh install of 11 did you use the activation key from whatever amazon gave you?

yes , I ordered the home version of 11 for 130.00 US . It came with the activation key and cd. It resulted in a invalid product key. Reading the reviews on amazon for the microsoft product there were many others that also claimed it was also invalid for them also.
