First let me mention that I am a novice at this sort of thing, (me and God r almost the same age).

I was trying to put Linux Mint on an HP laptop, and I guess everything that could go wrong did.

Now I can't boot into windows or Linux.

I get a Blue screen saying "Your PC needs to be repaired

Error Code: OxcOOOOOOe

Any help in getting this PC back again would be Greatly Appreciated

How did you do it?

If you click this search link it will show you ways on how to install linux if windows is already installed. There is a certain way it needs to be done.


You've most likely screwed up the boot files. You most likely need to do a repair of windows first using the installation media and then try installing linux again.
 
Thanks, I did put the media creation tool on to a usb stick, and used rufus to make it bootable, still get the same screen when I start the laptop up. And can't boot to the usb drive.
 
Cause its still trying to boot into windows and installing linux screwed up the boot files. You'll need to repair it. If you have secure boot enabled then it might not boot to usb. Also go into the bios and set first boot to usb. Run windows repair from the installation media.
 
You are asking for help but you don't even say what the computer is or what it's configuration is

We have NO idea of the processor, hard drive, model, make, and so on ?

That has nothing to do with what he needs help with.
